opsjednuta sam njihovim video receptima. Tamo je i moja draga kolegica Tamara sa bloga Bite my cake
snimila par recepta pa sam znala da mora isprobati. Volim kokos pa mi je za oko zapeo recept Matee pod imenom Hawai pita
. Nakon što sam nabavila kokosovo mlijeko (DM, 17 kn) čekala sam da radni tjedan završi i bacila sam se na posao.

also made some video recipes so go and check it out. I like coconut so the minute I saw the recipe for the Hawai Pie
I knew had to make it. After I found some coconut milk, and waited until the weekend came I started 🙂
Stavit ću video za sve hrvatske čitatelje da ne pišem ponovo recept jer je sve lijepo objašnjeno. Jedino bi preporučila malo manje tijestaza podlogu i malo manje čokolade (cca 100 g) jer se malo izgubi okus kokosa. Ali pita je fantastična! Okus Haupiu pudinga je divan i mislim da ću ga ponovo napraviti i usipati samo u šalice i jesti žlicom 🙂
This is the video recipe in Croatian and I have to say I was amazed with the result! you have to bake a pie and make a Haupia pudding. Homemade pudding made from coconut milk. In the half of the puding you have to put chocolate. In the recipe it says 200 g but I recommend that you put 100 g because the taste of the pudding will be better!
So here are the ingredients and the recipe 🙂
2 1/3 cup of flour
1 tsp salt
2 tbs sugar
180 g of butter
4 spoons of cold water
1 cup of milk
400 ml of coconut milk
1 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of density maker
1 cup of water
200 g chocolate
For the pie, mix all ingredients together well and form a firm dough. Put it in a plastic wrap and chill for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, put it in a pie mould and bake it for 20 minutes on 180 celsius. Bake it cover with beans so the dough doesn’t rise.
For the haupia pudding heath the milk, coconut milk and sugar stiring until boils and then add put in the mixture of density an water and stir until the pudding firms.
Remove it from the heat and devide in two bowls. In one bowl put the melted chocolate and the other leave white. Put the chocolate one on the baked crust first and then cover it with the white one.
I left it to cool overnight. And then we eat the whole thing :)))
